Ugh, this is very painful.
30 minutes to import a 11 minute mp4 video file.
Why does it not just use the mp4 that i am importing instead of running ffmpeg to convert it?
ffmpeg has my CPU pegged at 100% the whole time. Can you not find a different tool that could process this video faster?
Is there any current tweaks that one could do to speed up video imports?

why does it take so long for a single file to up load? if it does up load, mostly it doesn't up load and I have to delate it from the list. Is there a certain amount of files a project can hold? The new file/files when added just keep loading. is there anything you can suggest?
